Basketballghana.com understands Ghana Center Amida Brimah is expected to play in the NBA Gatorade League in the upcoming season.

This comes on the back of Brimah getting waived by Indiana Pacers prior to the commencement of the 2020-2021 NBA season after signing an Exhibit 10 contract with Indiana.

Signing such a contract means players waived before the start of a season get attached to an affiliate team in the G League which serves as a development league for young players in the NBA or a route into the league for veteran players.

Fort Wayne Mad Ants is the G League affiliate of Indiana Pacers and Brimah was scheduled to play for Fort Wayne last season before he suffered a torn ACL injury.

Should he go through and play in the G League, it would be the former University of Connecticut player’s third run out in the league after playing a couple of years for Austin Spurs and won the G League title in his first season.
