Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghana Center Amida Brimah was absent for his side’s 111-116 loss to Austin Spurs in the NBA Gatorade League (G League) 2020-2021 Regular Season.
The loss is Fort Wayne Mad Ants third in four games played in the campaign taking place in a bubble at the World Disney Complex in Orlando, Florida.

Brimah was expected to play a key role for Fort Wayne after signing a deal with Mad Ants NBA affiliate Indiana Pacers. He was assigned to Fort Wayne as one of only two players on a two way contract.
However, he has missed all four games played thus far and no official announcement has been communicated for his absence.

Amida played for two seasons at Austin Spurs and won the 2018 G League title and was named to the All Defensive First Team. The 6 foot 10 inch defender played at the Club World Championship during his time at Austin.
Fellow Ghanaian Ben Bentil starred for Fort Wayne before moving to Europe; he is on Panathinaikos roster.
