In the aftermath of the announcement, Stanley registered 12 points, two rebounds and two assists in a 93-109 loss to Salt Lake City in the NBA Gatorade League (G League).

Brimah started the game and delivered six points, two blocks and nine rebounds in 14 minutes as he battled foul trouble; he had four personal fouls called on him.
