Brimah Photo Courtesy: Fort Mad Ants can confirm Ghana Center Amida Brimah ranks second in the NBA Gatorade League (G League) Regular Season in the blocks category.

The 6 foot 10 inch athletic rim protector registered five blocks in his last outing for Fort Wayne Mad Ants in a 94-99 loss to Canton Charge. This was Brimah’s third outing with five blocks to his credit.


With a game left on the regular season schedule for Fort Wayne, Brimah is averaging 8.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.9 blocks in 23.3 minutes across nine games.

In his third season in the league, Brimah maintains his top rated block rating after making it to the All Defensive Team in his debut run in 2018 while helping Austin Spurs clinch the league title.

American born Ghanaian Selom Mawugbe ranks fifth in blocks with 2.2 across 17 minutes in 10 games. The 6 foot 10 inch Forward was drafted by Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League Draft after starring at Azusa Pacific University.
