Amihere’s University of South Carolina lost 65-66 to Stanford University at the Final Four stage of 2020-2021 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.

After leading the way with nine blocks in the Sweet 16 win over University of Texas, Amihere had a quiet game off the bench in the loss.

The 6 foot 4 Power Forward registered six points, six rebounds, a block, a steal and two assists in 18 minutes off the bench for the Gamecocks.

Amihere scored two of eight two point shots and missed her sole attempt from three point range in the contest; she scored two of five free throws.

South Carolina was led by Zia Cooke’s 25 point performance and was one of only three players to score in double digits for the 2017 national champions.

In her second season, Amihere averaged 6.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in 18 minutes across 31 games. She is expected to play more minutes in the upcoming season.
