Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Forward Ben Bentil has scored 11 points in Panathinaikos Basketball Club’s 88-62 win over Peristeri.
The win was recorded in the Greek Basketball Cup quarterfinals ensuring Panathinaikos progresses to the semifinals of the competition.
The team plays Kymis next in the semifinals on a yet to be determined date; this means Panathinaikos has a chance to end the 2020-2021 season with a Greek Cup and League double.
Bentil converted most of his points from the free throw line as he converted six of eight free throw attempts while scoring one of three two point shot attempts.
The 6 foot 8 inch Forward converted a three point shot out of three attempts in the contest while adding three rebounds and two assists.
Peristeri’s Mclean Tre-Michael led all players in scoring with 16 points; Bentil played for Persiteri for a year before securing a move to Panathinaikos in the 2019-2020 season.
Bentil and Panathinaikos switch attention to the league playoffs on May 11 against Ionikos.
