Tunisia’s representative in the inaugural edition of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) US Monastir has recorded the biggest win at the ongoing tournament.
Monastir beat GNBC from Madagascar 113-66 in the first game for both teams in the competition taking place at the Kigali Arena in Rwanda.
The result is the largest recorded in the NBA-FIBA Africa continental tournament being held in a bubble in order to follow COVID 19 Health and safety protocols.

Home side Patriots takes on GNBC later today and a win could seal its place in the quarterfinal after beating Nigeria’s Rivers Hoopers 80-63 in the opening game of the tournament.
Patriots’ American Rapper/ Player J Cole registered three points, three rebounds and two assists in his debut against Hoopers.
