Basketballghana.com can confirm Forward Ben Bentil has secured his second Greek A1 Basketball League title in a row in his second year at Panathinaikos Basketball Club.

Panathinaikos beat Lavrio 82-66 in Game 4 to secure the 2020-2021 League title to conclude an exciting season that ended with the Athens Club bagging a League and Cup Double. (Click highlighted to watch video)

Bentil featured prominently in the playoffs and delivered standout performances throughout the postseason including Game 3 of the Finals.

The 6 foot 8 inch Combo Forward registered 28 points and five rebounds in 20 minutes in Game 3 to give Panathinaikos a 2-1 lead in the series. (Click highlighted text to watch video)

In Game 4, Bentil cooled off and produced six points, six rebounds and an assist in 16 minutes; the 26 year old has won three titles in his professional career since joining Panathinaikos.

He signed a two year deal after leaving Peristeri and his run has come to an end pending an extension in the coming weeks. Bentil is the first Ghana born player to play in the NBA and has played in France and Spain since turning pro in 2016.
