Per reports reaching Basketballghana.com, sports apparel outfit ClockWork Brand is set to roll out a series of projects in the coming months with a 3×3 Basketball as the first.
These reports come on the back of recent tweets posted by Brand CEO Emmanuel Ekow Amoako that suggests a move into another phase for the brand.
Dubbed the “Game of Threes”, the upcoming event dives into 3×3 Basketball with a string of games in the works; 3X3 Basketball has grown in popularity over the years in Ghana and venturing into the abridged version of the sport isn’t surprising.
Amoako, who celebrates his birthday today, has been heavily involved with 3×3 Basketball mainly as an Ambassador for SWIFT Basketball 3×3 Tournament held in 2018.
ClockWork has over the years been involved in organizing and running competitions such as the Kumasi Basketball League and “StreetBall at the Mall”.
Kumasi Basketball League Champions, Ayeduase Snipers and Snipers Basketball Academy is connected to ClockWork Brand and recently started a skills enhancement program dubbed SKILLUP SESSIONS.
A documentary focusing on Amoako’s unique basketball journey titles “13:12” is also in the works and set to be released later this year.
