Basketballghana.com can confirm Tema Community 4 Basketball Club will compete in a friendly contest at its home venue midway through this month.
The team takes on Adabraka CYO on Sunday, July 18 at the Tema Community 4 Court that is also known as the Chinese Court; CYO competes in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I.
The upcoming game is the latest in the line of a series of friendly games C4 will engage in ahead of the start of the Tema Basketball League (TBL).
C4 has played against Ghana Navy Club and Sakumono Titans in previous friendly games and is yet to lose a game in the offseason.
Playing against CYO represents the first friendly encounter for C4 after completing the registration process to compete in the 2021 TBL season ditto CYO in the ABL.
Adabraka CYO competed in the 2019 ABL after gaining promotion from Division II; the 2020 ABL and TBL seasons were lost to the COVID 19 pandemic.
