Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghana Center Amida Brimah has taken his taken on the Indiana Pacers Jr. Hoops Basketball Tour this offseason.

On the latest leg of the tour held in Evansville, the 6 foot 10 inch Brimah was the featured personality from the NBA side at the program.

The program which is free to children aims to provide learning opportunities to children between ages 6 and 14 to learn the basics of basketball. Only the first 60 participants are admitted for each of the five tour sessions.

Brimah led the children in basketball drills and engage the participants in a speaking session where he answered questions from the young individuals.

The 26 year old defender is coming off his debut run in the NBA after several stints with Pacers affiliate team in the NBA Gatorade League-Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Austin Spurs.

He signed a two way contract with Indiana after impressing in last season’s shortened G League campaign held inside a bubble.

In five Regular Season games, Brimah averaged 2.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 5.8 minutes of play.
