can report Ghana Center Amida Brimah has scored 14 points in his debut for Oostende in the Belgian Basketball League.

Brimah had featured for Oostende in the FIBA Basketball Champions League since signing for the Belgian team late in November after a brilliant run with Mets de Guaynabo in the Puerto Rico League.

Oostende picked up its 11th win in 11 games this season in the league thanks to an 80-78 win over Brussels in the latest round of league games played recently.


6 foot 10 inch athletic defender Brimah played 18 minutes off the bench and produced 14 points, five rebounds, two assists and a block.

Brimah scored five of seven two point shot attempts and converted all four free throw shot attempts in the close win for Oostende who maintain top spot in the league standings.

In the FIBA Basketball Champions League however, Oostende has underperformed; the team has two wins in five games in Group F and plays Strasbourg on Tuesday, December 21 at 19:30 GMT.
