Bentil grabs rebound Photo Courtesy: Milano can report Ghana Forward Ben Bentil has featured in Olimpia Milano’s latest win in the 2021-2022 Euroleague Basketball Championship.

The Italian team recorded an 83-77 win over Turkish side Anadolou Efes as the regular season of the premier continental competition rounds up. (Click highlighted text to watch video)

The win marked a bounce back from a 58-75 loss to Israel’s Maccabi Tel Aviv in the previous round of games. Bentil played 7:14 minutes off the bench and registered three points and two rebounds.

After falling out of the rotation and missing four straight games, Bentil has featured in back to back games since; he played 12:36 minutes in the loss to Maccabi while producing five points and a rebound.

Milano had five players score in double figures with veteran Guard Luigi Datome leading the way with 14 points. The team recorded just five turnovers in the game and registered none in the second half; Head Coach Ettore Messina was impressed with his team’s ball security. Efes star Guard Shane Larkin registered 10 points, three rebounds and three assists.
