Later tonight at the Takoradi Technical University (TTU) Court, TTU Oilers will be on the lookout to register its second win of the Western Basketball Association (WBA) League.
Oilers take on Viking Basketball Academy at 16:00 GMT in its second outing in the 2022 League Regular Season; in its debut game, TTU clinched a 47-27 win over Oil City Kings.
In the aftermath of the win, TTU Head Coach Dr. Owusu Ansah Ankrah described his team’s performance as “good” but with a lot to learn particularly on the defensive side of the court.
However, he did indicate his team was “poised” to win the league title again and cement its position as the best in the division. Tonight’s game is Viking’s first of the 2022 league season.
Prior to the game, Oil City Thunder takes on Oil City Dragons Basketball Club at 15:00 GMT at the same venue. Seven teams are competing this season; the 2022 campaign commenced on March 20.
