Basketballghana.com can confirm the Brong Ahafo Basketball Association (BABA) has appointed a handful of individuals as Coaches for various roles on various regional based teams.
The recent activity had six individuals handed roles on the region’s various teams; Sunyani Technical University Coach Andrew Quansah has been named Head Coach of the region’s Men’s Basketball Team. He doubles as a Player/ Coach for Young Boys Basketball Club in the region’s GSP Basketball League.
With Quansah at the helm, STU has consistently represented the region at the Universities, Polytechnic and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.
He is to be assisted by Kwaku Agyemang-Badu Jnr. with Kelvin Ayamka and Theresah Konadu-Amponsah appointed as Head Coach and Assistant Coach for the Female Regional Team respectively.
Godfred Vug Yaaka and Peter Boadi Amankwah round up the list of appointments as Head Coach for the Youth Team and Wheelchair Basketball Team respectively.
