After getting picked up by Urartu after a dominant spell at fellow Armenia Basketball League A side BKMA, American-Ghanaian Guard Denzel Mensah missed out crowning a brilliant but short run in the European nation.

Urartu lost the League title via a 107-109 result to Erebuni; Mensah delivered another high scoring outing as he registered 42 points, two steals, 13 rebounds and three assists in 40 minutes as a starter.

Mensah was named Player of the Month in February

The 6 foot 2 inch scoring Guard converted efficiently from two point range scoring 17 of 23 shot attempts and did same from the charity stripe as he scored eight of 10 free throw shot attempts; he missed a pair of three point shot attempts in the contest.

Unsurprisingly, Mensah led Urartu in scoring and rebounds and out of seven active players, three including the former Pennsylvania State University-Wilkes Barre player scored in double figures.

On the other hand, Erebuni had just six active players for the contest and each member of its starting five scored in double figures.

In late March, Mensah won the Super Cup with Urartu. (Click highlighted text to view Super Cup celebrations)
