Basketballghana.com can confirm the unbeaten teams in the 2022 Western Basketball Association (WBA) League occupy the top two spots in the league standings a month in to the regular season.
Takoradi Technical University (TTU) Oilers and Oil City Thunder rank first and second respectively on the seven team log largely thanks to their unbeaten so far in the campaign.
Oilers have three wins in three games while Thunder has two wins in two games including its 41-37 win over Oil City Dragons. TTU has a 76-51 win over Viking Warriors on its record for the season.
TTU has a whopping goal difference of 133 that separates the tertiary institution from the field with the next closest team (Oil City Kings) spotting a 20 goal difference.
Lighters Basketball Club and Dragons occupy the bottom spots in the league on the back of their winless run in the season. Ligthers is winless in three games; Dragons have lost both games played this season.
