Basketballghana.com can confirm Italian side Olimpia Milano will compete in Game One of the 2022 Euroleague Basketball Championship Quarterfinal stage tonight.
The team is scheduled to play Turkish side Anadolou Efes at 17:00 GMT later today in the first of the best of five game series. However, Milano enters the series with Ghana Forward Ben Bentil’s availability in doubt.
Ghana’s leading Basketball portal gathers Bentil is with the team for tonight’s game but there is a big question regarding whether he plays or not.
Bentil suffered an injury in Milano’s 70-61 win over Vanoli Cremona where Bentil played just three minutes before exiting with the injury. He had two points and a steal as a starter.
The former Dallas Mavericks and Panathinaikos player wasn’t involved in Milano’s 90-67 win this past weekend over Napoli Basket.
Should Milano triumph in the Euroleague series, the reigning Italian Basketball Cup Champions will face the winner of the AS Monaco-Olympiacos series at the semifinal stage.
This is Bentil’s debut season with Milano.
