Virtus’s veteran duo of Marco Belinelli and Milos Teodosic bagged 14 points and 12 points respectively; the team is also in contention to clinch the Italian Serie A title for the second season in a row.

Bologna leads the 16 team league standings with 26 wins and three losses heading into the final round of games in the Regular Season due to be played on Sunday, May 8.

Prior to joining Bologna, the 29 year old Abass was a top scoring option for Germani Brescia but has been a top defensive option for Virtus since joining the team in 2020.

He has won the Italian League title twice; once with Olimpia Milano and last season’s title with Virtus. At the 2019 Basketball World Cup, Abass averaged eight points and three rebounds.
