Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian Center Nathan Mensah has withdrawn from the NBA Draft Combine and will return to San Diego State University to play out his fifth and final season with The Aztecs.

Due to an extra year of eligibility due to effects of COVID 19 Pandemic, Mensah gets the chance to go back to compete in the US Men’s College 2022-2023 Season.

‘I really appreciate everyone at San Diego State giving me the time to make this very important decision. I have explored my options and after consultation with many people: my advisors, family, NBA scouts, general managers, and others, I have decided that to achieve my goals, the best thing for me is to return to San Diego State for one more year’ he said.

Mensah averaged 7.0 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.2 blocks last season.
