Leopards Basketball Club pulled off perhaps its biggest win thus far in the 2022 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I with the win coming in the last round of games played in the league.

Serial winners of the Division, Braves of Customs lost 44-46 to Leopards in the last of three games played at the Prisons Court in Cantonments. (Click highlighted text to watch full interview)

Samuel Cobblah proved to be the hero on the night as his three point shot with nine seconds remaining gave Leopards the two point lead the team maintained to clinch the impressive win.

The loss is Braves second in the 2022 Regular Season after suffering a loss to reigning League Champion Reformers of Prisons in the opening week of the season.

Braves still hold on to second place in the nine team standings level on 18 points with Leopards in third place but Braves hold a superior goal difference on Leopards; both teams have eight wins and two losses.

Reformers rank first in the standings with 10 wins in 10 appearances.
