Spintex Knights Basketball Club will officially represent Ghana at the 2022 Tournoi International Basketball Tournament to be held in Ivory Coast. The competition is scheduled to run from July 18 to July 24 at the Palais des sports Treichville in Abidjan.

The team has qualified to the finals in the Tema Community Basketball League where it is due to play Nungua Coldstore in a rematch of the 2019-2020 Finals once they return from the Ivory Coast trip.

In the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II, debutant Knights Club is yet to lose a game in 10 appearances made so far this season.

The team extended its winning run to 10 games after beating Juniour Reformers 74-33 in its latest outing in the league; Knights lead Group B standings in the Division as it attempts to qualify to the Division I.

The Tournoi International has eight teams due to compete including Knights with the likes of Kwara Falcons from Nigeria and ASPAC from Benin on the list of competing teams. Ivorian side Phenix Basketball Club is the host team.
