Accra Basketball League (ABL) Director Alex Kukula has heaped praise on FBN Bank for the financial institution’s support to the league.

He said this in an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com in the wake of FBN Bank’s announced partnership with the Accra Basketball League.

The partnership was sealed in May and came with a 20, 000 Ghana Cedis financial package for the 2022 Season in the face of FBN Bank coming on board after the season’s commencement.

The ABL Director added FBN Bank is very likely to improve its relationship with the league and become the title sponsor of the league as early as next season.

However, he clarified the league’s partnership with telecommunications giant MTN still stands and the company is the league’s major sponsor.

League games in the 2022 Season are played out at the Prisons Court in Cantonments with 20 teams competing in the Men’s Division II while nine teams compete in the Men’s Division I and Women’s Division respectively.
