Thousands of fans are eagerly awaiting the finals of the maiden U-18 Basketball tournament at the El-Wak Stadium on Friday September 4th.
Highly fancied Cantonments tackle Ridge in the finals on Friday in a game which is expected to attract thousands of fans to the venue.
Fans have been treated to 12 weeks of scintillating, thrilling and awe-inspiring performances and Friday’s cliff hanger will lower the curtains on an exciting 13 weeks of Basketball competition at the El-Wak Stadium.
Ridge shocked the pundits by beating the much talked-about Dansoman at the semi-finals stage to set up the final berth against Cantonments.
This will be the third time both sides are meeting after previous encounters in the first and second classification.
Ridge triumphed in the first classification but Cantonments bounced back to avenge the defeat by beating their opponents in the second classification.
The final game will certainly determine who will hold the bragging rights and eventually lift the ultimate trophy and the cash prize at stake.
