Reformers produced one of the greatest fight backs in the game’s history in Ghana by turning out their game against Warriors into a photo-finish on Thursday.

Reformers trailed their opponent from the first to the final quarter and with only the buzzer left to go, Reformers capitalized on the defensive frailties of Warriors and punished them with few seconds left –  ending the game 72-70 and sending their fans into spontaneous jubilations.

It was Warrior’s second defeat in succession following their earlier blip against Tema Youth in their opening day fixture and coach of the Nima based side is beginning to get pensive on what might have hit a side which performed tremendously in the Greater Accra series.

Elsewhere, Hoops got their campaign onto a whirlwind fashion with another expected and sweet victory over Holy Family at the Lebanon house, Tudu.

The Cape Coast based side welcomed sniper Meme Falconer into their fold and his presence was averagely felt as he helped his side to record 45-41 success over Coach Abeiku Sagoe’s charges.
