Host Legon began their title hunt in season-2 of Community Dunks with victory over James Town at the University of Ghana basketball court on Saturday.

Koby Patrick Aryeetey, Emmanuel Wolf and Edem Quist were in fine form for Legon as they cruised to 25-16 win over their opponent.

Solomon Oppong remained the brightest player on the day for James Towns as Legon romped to opening day win.

Buoyed by the home fans, Legon dictated the pace of the game from the first to the final quarter displaying sheer nimbleness and tenacity to dispose off the challenge of their opponent.

The win for the host community has set the perfect tonic for what is expected to be the most keenly contested championship.

Community Dunks is an initiative of Rite Multimedia and sponsored by Indomie with support from 90 Minutes Newspaper and Metro TV.
