Kaneshie made it 3/3 to cement their place in the semi-finals of the ongoing Community Dunks humbling whipping boys James Town 38-32 in a nerve-racking encounter on Saturday evening.

Coach Sam Tagoe’s young players who previously beat Ridge and Legon didn’t really put up a matchless display on the court but it was still enough to hand James Town their third successive defeat of the campaign.

It was always going to be an easy task for the semi-finalist going into the third match of the day and rightly so, they lived up to that pre match favourite tag to kill off the challenge of their opponent- making Coach Nii Aryee side the only side in season -2 to have gone out without a single victory.

The side looked dejected, with porous defensive network coupled with the team’s inability to take advantage over rebounds. They lacked team spirit and character and they’ll need to come back next year with a different squad or else pave way for other communities to show their talent.

They’ve really been disappointing and their 38-32 defeat on Saturday sums up their abysmal campaign this season.
