The super finals of the fourth edition of the Indomie Community Dunks has been shifted to 8 September, 2012.

The finals, originally scheduled for September 1 has now been move forward by a week.

Organizers say the move is to afford the qualifying teams’ ample time to prepare for the hugely anticipated grand-finale at the El-Wak sports stadium.

“The decision to move the date forward is meant to give the various teams enough time to prepare for the finals,” Head of production at Rite Multimedia, Lawrence Nartey told BASKETBALLghana.com

“We believe this year’s finals will be hugely contested for and for a competition which has seen such an unprecedented growth in the last four years, we can only anticipate a great finals.”

So far, six teams have booked their passage to the finals with Kwadaso and Asokwa expected to represent the Ashanti Region after they negotiated their qualification unscathed.

Four team from the Greater Accra Region – Burma camp Dansoman, Cantonments and James Town have qualified from the capital.
