The eight finalists in the girls division of the 2013 Sprite Ball Championship have been settled on after the opening day matches ended on Friday.
The quarter-final contests pit strong teams against each other and see the crème de crème at the Senior High level squaring off with the intention of causing an upset while other eye the ultimate glory.
Champions Yaa Asantewaa are looking strong after a commanding display which saw them beat Wesley Girls and St Margaret Mary’s.
They will play against Shama Senior High School in a potential rib-racking contest at the Aviation Social Centre.
Sacred Heart School have drawn Wesley Girls Senior High while Aggrey Memorial will battle St Margaret Mary’s with St Mary’s squaring off against Kinbu Senior High on Saturday January 5 at the Aviation Social Centre.
