Yaa Asantewaa clinched bronze in the 2013 Sprite Ball Championship after beating Wesley Girls 16-11 on Saturday.
The defending champions could settle for the third place after they lost to St Mary’s in the semi-finals in a closely contested game in front of a charged crowd.
But they recoiled into their shelves and came back strongly to beat Wesley Girls 16-11 at the Aviation Social Centre.
