ReboundAccra Polytechnic ladies have won the title in the ladies division after thrashing Tamale Polytechnic 53-3.

The capital-based side have thus won all their three games and bask in a total of 220 field goals in the five-day event.

Accra Poly have never looked back since they hammered Kumasi Polytechnic in their opening game.

They went ahead to beat host Takoradi Polytechnic before accounting for dethroned champions Tamale in a one-sided affair.

It has been a an incredible feat by young and hungry ladies who have been desirous of winning the trophy they lost to Tamale Polytechnic two years ago.

Star player and power forward Mavis Martey was the main architect of the ‘A’ Poly team as she dazzled and powered her side to the coveted crown.

Kumasi Polytechnic came second, Takoradi placing third before Tamale came a disappointing fourth.

The 2013 edition of the tournament was marred by poor organization and lack of proper schedule, reboungh has reported.
