korverThe Atlanta Hawks managed to keep one of the most coveted free agents on the market Wednesday, agreeing to terms with guard Kyle Korver on a four-year, $24 million deal, according to sources.

Korver was in demand, with the Nets and Bucks, among others, trying to sign him. He had been acquired by Atlanta last summer in a trade with the Bulls, where he had been part of Chicago’s strong bench in 2011-12. He averaged 10.9 points per game last season, shooting 45.7 percent from three-point range.

The 32-year-old Korver is a career 43 percent shooter behind the arc in his 10-year NBA career.
