KatangaKatanga Hall will come to its knees when their Hall Basketball challenge takes centre stage on April 12 in Kumasi.

The most powerful hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) will host other stellar halls of the school as part of activities to mark Hall Week celebration.

The event being put together by Rite Multimedia follows a similar exercise at Dr Hilla Liman Hall, a sub-hall of the University of Ghana last month.

Five Halls and a ‘foreign’ team will engage each other in a hot contest on the campus of KNUST to put to rest who really is the best of the best as far as the game of basketball is concerned.

Queens, Republic, Casley Hayford, Brunei, Katanga as well as Kumasi Polytechnic will engage each other during the one-day tournament.

There are other side attractions including free throw contest, Three-on-three contest as well as some performances from some established music players in the West African country.

This is the first time that Rite Multimedia, an Accra-based event company, will organize such a high-profile competition at Ghana’s second largest University.

It is expected to draw huge numbers to the venue and relive the old performances of former Sprite Ball youngster who are currently students of the school.
