HOHOHOHOHOMore pride than usual will be at stake when the Greater Accra junior League starts on April 24 in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

Nine teams will slug it out for the ultimate title while taken notice of the potential of being relegated to the third-tier League.

There are really some tough battles ahead in the second-tier League with the likes of Dansoman Dynamics, Old Skull Kings, Galaxy, CYO, Warriors, Air Force as well as Adenta Leopards all gunning for the title and promotion.

The Navy and Teshie Rangers are the last two teams who cannot be overlooked as they parade a promising squad which can challenge for the title in the juniors division.

The pairing threw up some potential cracking contest in the opening matches.

Old Skuul Kings will take on CYO while there is the game involving Warriors and Rangers.

Burma Camp-based Air Force will slug it out against Leopards with Galaxy taken on Navy in another explosive battle.

Coach Ferrani Olulonyo’s Dansoman Dynamics will get the chance to taste action on match day-2 where they take on Rangers.

He has plenitude of selecting from a pool of talents who have demonstrated beyond all reasonable doubt that they are indeed an emerging force and can work their way out up there.

Olulonyo, hugely considered as one of the rising coaches in Ghana has his work cut out for him as he rallies support for his budding talents ahead of what is expected to be hotly contested affair.
