The day turned out to be an exciting one for campers as they were put to paces by coach Lewis Fadipe and his backroom staff.

The scrimmages produced some scintillating display from the campers who are growing in confidence as the days soar.

Young Rudolf, Bernard Danso, Nana Kwadwo, Abigail, Osuman, Aziz showed tremendous display in their play, a manifestation of how positive things have pants out during the day.

While the 15 to-18 year-olds had gotten the opportunity to learn from the coaches for three days now, it was also the time for the trainers to learn from the best on Monday afternoon.

Coach Lewis and his backroom staff including Sandy Asiedu and Alfred Davies preached the ins and outs of the game to the more than 30 campers in attendance, discussing and demonstrating various strategies.

The concluding day of the program enabled the perimeter athletes to put all the skills they had learned to the test, as series of scrimmages led up to a game, during which the best of the best of the 13-19 year-olds would go head-to-head vying for the camp top player.

Although there was no dunk competition at the Liman Hall court on Monday afternoon, the competition was no less fierce with intriguing display from the campers.

After a surfeit pull-ups and post moves, blocks and breakaway layups, the final whistle blew to signal the end of the day’s activities.

The players, coaches and organizers have packed up and left their benches, red to get some rest before Tuesday’s session which will include swimming exercises.
