University of Professional Studies will begin their campaign in the 2015 UPAC Basketball Championship with a tricky tie against Pentecost University on March 14.

The host will hope to kick start their campaign in group A against a side which is gradually finding their feet before games against Ho Polytechnic and GIMPA.

The group A’s other fixture will see improving Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) clash with Ho Polytechnic.

GIMPA could become the surprise package after impressing heavily during the warm-up games over the weekend.

They accounted for Wisconsin International College to serve as real boost to the side ahead of their group encounter.

But they face a daunting task against a side which is stewed in confidence and touted as one of the favourite for the title.

Ho Polytechnic have in their fold a number of rising stars who played for Keta and Mawuli Senior High Schools in the famous High school championship.

Former Ketasco captain Sedem Tetevi is expected to spearhead the title challenge of the side.

The Ho-based institution will subsequently battle University of Professional Studies and Pentecost University College.
