Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) basketball team Forward Paul Eta has stated the team’s intentions ahead of the 2016 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Games.

The UPAC Championship, sponsored by Rexona, is set to take place from March 5 to April 16 will be the third edition of Ghana’s best and biggest basketball tourney .

Eta, a first year Combo Forward who hails from Cameroon and doubles as a player for Braves of Customs Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) Basketball, was in ebullient mood when Basketballghana.com caught up with him during a scrimmage.

He said: ” Its’ my first year and we have good guys so I think its’ going to be good. Definitely I have looked at the other teams and I think that we have a good chance to qualify.”

Captain of the Team McMartey Lawer who played in GIMPA’s failed quest last season, made a similar statement by saying, ” We will get it right and GIMPA basketball rules at the end of the day.”

The 2016 UPAC Basketball Championship is set to take place between March 5 and April 16 and is sponsored by the world’s best selling deodorant brand Rexona and supported by CAL Bank in partnership with media outlets including TV3, Starr FM and Basketballghana.com and Graphic Sports.
