Ghana Technology University College (GTUC) Center Charles Annan is adamant his side will make a massive impact in this year’s Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.
The third edition of the Championship, is headlined by Rexona and will take place from March 5 to April 16 with 28 tertiary institutions set to participate.
The front court behemoth made the statement when Basketballghana.com caught up with a team scrimmage at the Police basketball Court in preparation for the tournament.
He said, “This year is going to be different from last year probably because a lot of teams didn’t see Ghana Technology play because we couldn’t make it to the games so watch out for better basketball.”
He also had some choice words for participating teams in the competition.
“Basketball is all about what you can do on the court it’s not about what you say, everything you want to tell the world should be on the court” the team captain said.
