Blue Crest College Coach Kofi Agyemang Kwarteng believes playing in hostile conditions should not affect players from the away side. Blue Crest College will face home side Accra Polytechnic in Zone F qualifiers for the 2016 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship which takes place on Friday April 1.

The third edition of the Championship, headlined by Rexona will also have Zenith University College and Valley View University compete in the zone for a spot in the quarter finals of the Championship which commences on April 8 at the University of Ghana.

Speaking to Basketballghana.com, the former standout Guard was confident his players are capable of performing on Accra Polytechnic’s intimidating court. Indicating his side was focused on getting the job done, he said:

“Ordinarily it may seem so. But it shouldn’t be an issue for a basketball player with focus.”

Defending and two-time Champions Accra Polytechnic will be looking for a third straight title as it launches a fresh challenge on annexing the championship whereas Blue Crest College will make its’ debut appearance in the competition.
