Magic will play Air Force in the second round of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) later today at the Lebanon House in Tudu, Accra. The game will tip off at 17:00 GMT and Magic captain Edwin Heizel has stated his side is ready for the challenge.

Defending champions Braves of CEPS will take on Navy as Reformers takes on DC Dynamics in the day’s other games. Speaking to Basketballghana.com, the head honcho of the team was confident his side will put on a good show. He said, “We have been training and preparing for the league”.

Magic was scheduled to play in the opening round of the league but the game was postponed following the Police team’s administrative shortcomings. Despite this and postponement of the commencement of the league prior, the Magic team is oozing with confidence with Coach James Okine stating his side will do great things in this season.

The second week of the ABL suffered yet another postponement after games in the women’s division were called off after rains affected most parts of Ghana’s capital, Accra on Thursday. The games will be played on Saturday May 14 at the Prisons Court in Cantonments.
