Dynamics took a huge 20-4 lead into the second quarter but an improved display from Reformers had them reduce the deficit to 11 after the first half. Dynamics Point Guard Nii Lantei Blankson was instrumental in the half orchestrating beautiful plays for teammates to score.

Reformers Coach Prosper Agbleta countered this strategy by surrounding big men Aziz Mohammed and Mohammed Yakubu with shooters like Elvis Pobi-Siaw and Andrew Ayienab. The injection of offensive fire power bumped Reformers up to 23 with Dynamics still in the lead with 36 points heading into the last quarter.

The dynamics of the game began to unravel as Aziz made two blocks for Ayienab to score from. The vital layup coupled with Siaw’s earlier three point shot shredded Reformers’ deficit to five. Aziz tied the score at 49 with a put back after a Siaw missed three point shot.

The game degenerated into shouting contest between officials and coaches with both trainers expressing their displeasure with game officials. Dynamics Coach Feranmi Olulonyo was more visibly frustrated as he could be seen consistently arguing with referees. However, Reformers converted shots from the free throw line to seal a massive comeback win.

Dynamics will have to win games in upcoming weeks to avoid a quick return to the second tier.
