Providence University Power Forward Ben Bentil is still in the running for a spot in the 2016 NBA Draft following his decision to officially join the professional ranks. The 6 foot 8 inch Ghanaian made the official statement through his instagram account:

Bentil had a great year for the Friars as he averaged 21 points and seven rebounds in his second season after averaging 6.4 points and four rebounds in his first year. His improved production culminated in winning the Most Improved Player and leading scorer in the Big East Conference respectively.

Before declaring, Bentil had the chance to return to Providence since he did not hire an agent before the May 25 deadline. He joins teammate Kris Dunn in the Draft; the Point Guard is a probable top ten pick for the June 23 event.
