After watching their male counter parts produce the goods to down Holy Family 69-46 last week, Fire Service female team will be under tremendous pressure to deliver a win in the Accra Basketball League Women Division as fixtures for Week Four are set to commence later today at the Prisons Court in Cantonments, Accra.

Having lost all games played thus far against Prisons (30-62) and Braves of Customs (30-58), the team will have to play above themselves in a must win game against Air Force. The matchup will be the first of four scheduled for today with Police taking on home side Reformers of Prisons, University of Ghana taking on Galaxy and Navy taking on defending champions Braves.

Fire’s play has been underwhelming after two games with Point Guard Carlyn Adjei being the sole bright spot on the team. The Guard’s runs have hardly been tracked by teammates who always look a step behind her dazzling forays.

Air Force looked a solid side in the opening day 45-37 win over Navy with backcourt duo Adelaide Dsadie and Nafisa Mumuni proving an unstoppable force and will give Fire a lot of problems.
