The Accra Basketball League (ABL) has been on a roll since tipping off on May 5 and been spiced up with tons of exciting games. However, the league had to be halted for two consecutive game days due to heavy rains which plagued Ghana’s capital, Accra and caused some games to be postponed.

As a result, Navy’s matchup against Tudu Magic will be played later today at Prisons Court in Cantonments. Having not played a game since losing to defending champions Braves of Customs last month, it will be interesting to see Coach Alexander Tindani’s side in action again.

Fans have had little chance to see Navy as the side has played just two games this season with the other game being a season’s opener against Tema Youth which Navy won.

The team looked impressive against last season’s runners up with the likes of Richard Tetteh and Forward David Asingar acing the eye test. However, Navy followed in line with several other league outfits by jettisoning through a meek performance against Braves.

With over a month’s game rust, fans shouldn’t be surprised seeing the team make a slow start against an equally inconsistent Magic side that is yet to convince pundits as serious contenders.
Home side Reformers of Prisons will take on Braves in a headline game and DC Dynamics will play Holy Family in the remaining games.
