The Prisons Courts in Cantonments will host exiting duels in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division second round games later today. The third week in the division will pit leaders Braves of Customs against Galaxy and bottom ranked Navy against home side Reformers of Prisons.

Home side Reformers will tip off the day’s fixtures with an overwhelming chance to increase their win share for the season as they take on winless Navy at 15:00 GMT. Reformers go into fixture in confident mood after recording an impressive win over second placed Air Force.

Same cannot be said for Navy as the pretty to watch side has yet to register any ticks in the win column thus far. The side is winless in six games with a whopping goal difference of -85 which places them at the base o the six team standing.

The second game of the day will be the top draw of the round’s fixtures as defending champions Braves will have it tough extending its six game unbeaten streak as they face third placed Galaxy. Aside the respective positions both sides share, the game will be start studded with nominees from the upcoming 2016 Ghana Basketball Awards.

Braves duo Berlinda Boateng and Matilda Gordon will be in action alongside Galaxy’s Selina Quaye. The annual event will take place at the Best Western Premier Hotel in Accra on August 12.
