DC Dynamics Head Coach Feranmi Olulonyo says his side’s revels in the underdog role it has been tagged with in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I.
He made the statement on top rated basketball show “Fast Break” which airs on Ghanaian channel TV3 following, following his side’s nail biting 66-65 win over Fire Service in the last round of games played over the weekend.
“We love being underdogs. Every game we play, we see ourselves as the underdogs. Even if we are playing against a ladies team or a Division II team we go in there (the game) as underdogs” he said.
Winless in consecutive games at the start of the new season, Dynamics has been on a roll in recent games after nicking consecutive wins over Navy and Fire Service in three games. Despite losing to defending champions Braves of Customs, the team won a lot of fans with their play and effort.
The Dansoman- based side has since moved up the standings from seventh to fourth in the aftermath of the unbeaten run. However on July 29, Dynamics will face second placed Tema Youth with the latter side in the hunt to unseat league leaders Braves.
