Accra Basketball League Women’s Division leaders and defending champions Braves of Customs will take on Air Force in what is expected to be a live wire affair between the division’s top two sides at the Lebanon House Court in Accra.

The matchup presents a second opportunity for Air Force to make good on Guard Annabel Dsane’s conviction her side is capable of ending Braves winning streak and will be the first outing for recently crowned 2016 Female Most Valuable Player of the Year Matilda Gordon.

Gordon added the Tertiary Player of the Year title to her win on August 12 at the Best Western Premier Hotel and her instrumental role for the side was key in racking up the awards.

Galaxy will take on bottom ranked Navy in the final game of the round as the former seeks to climb back to the upper tier of the six team division. Navy on the other hand, will be looking to end a run of eight straight losses for the season despite being one of the most exciting teams in the division.

The exciting displays haven’t translated into wins and Coach Alexander Tindani will cast a much happier look on the bench.
