Ghana Navy and DC Dynamics are set to face off at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu later today with both sides in the hunt for their first win in the 2016 Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I postseason. The game tips off at 17:00 GMT.

Both teams head into the tie on the back of close losses to Tema Youth and Fire Service with Dynamics losing 52-57 and Navy failing to claw back a two point deficit to lose 57-59 to Fire. Tema and Fire are primed to face off in the next round.

Dynamics will feel hard done by after the Tema loss not after the Dansoman-based side rallied from an 11-24 half time deficit to three (30-33) by the end of the third quarter.

With a minute and five seconds remaining in the final quarter Guard Lantei Blankson-Mills failed to convert any of three attempts from the free throw line to leave Tema off the hook.

Navy will be feeling the pinch much harder after watching a half court shot from Point Guard Joe Ayieattah bounce off the rim to maintain Fire’s two point lead and the game’s win. Like, Dynamics, Navy’s 11-4 rally early in the third quarter had the side down by a point (47-48) heading to the final quarter.
