The 2016 Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I postseason game between DC Dynamics tie and Ghana Navy scheduled for today at the Lebanon House Court has been called off Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The cancellation was effected after a crunch meeting was held at the aforementioned venue to see the way forward for the rest of the postseason games bearing the league season is expected to end on October 14.
Since avoiding the games will no bearing on the final four standings and save “resources”, the decision was made to forgo the remaining games in the classification zones which feature the Navy-Dynamics matchup which got rained off last weekend and Teshie Rangers game against the loser of that matchup.
However, the respective teams are set to be classified on the final standings based on points differential in games played in the first round which includes Tudu Magic.
The decision means semifinal matchups between Braves of Customs and Reformers of Prisons and Tema Youth and Fire Service will go on as planned on Thursday October 12 at the Lebanon Court with the final round taking place on Saturday October 15.
