Marshalls University College Male Basketball Team is set to be spiced up by a brotherly love after drafting and admitting Emmanuel Summers Salifu to team up with older brother Mishael Jamani Salifu.

Earlier this week, the younger Salifu was admitted to the College following an impressive showing at the 2016 High School and College Draft earlier this year.

The reigning PUSAG Team of the Year will reunite the brothers as Mishael starred for Mfantsipim School leading the side to win the 2015 Sprite Ball Championship; the fourth in the school’s history before being declared Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.

Summers on the other hand, featured for Koforidua Secondary Technical School (K.S.T.S.) in the 2016 edition of Ghana’s biggest High School event-Sprite Ball Championship- where the team exited at the quarter final stage against older brother Mishael’s alma mater.

Marshalls Coach James Okine who doubles as Pope John High School Coach had a firsthand look at Summers during the 2016 Sprite Ball as he led Pope John to its first ever third place finish in the competition.

After getting selected by Marshalls, Summers spoke about playing with his brother where he stated their bond will make the partnership “click very well”.
